Seeing this growing trend, they decided to shift the company\'s dependency from the IT department to focus on the fast-growing pharmaceutical sector. \"At that time, we set ourselves an ambitious goal to be a global leader in blister packaging tools,\" explains Robin . \". But making such a shift is not as easy as Robin originally thought. \"It will take almost five years to fully realize this transformation. During that time, we suffered a great failure. In terms of turnover, it took us a long time to build it up again. \"While this is a difficult experience, it is definitely the right decision in the long run,\" he insisted . \". Robin Lennick grew up in Black Rock, Dublin. After school, he got a job in a bank. \"What I really want to do is work with a car or become a tool manufacturer. However, my parents have different ideas. \"They want me to get a permanent, pension-based job,\" Robin said . \". For young Robin, however, working in a bank is not the most productive. He often finds that he can only deliver mail to local businesses, but he feels less and less challenging. He decided to move to London, where he worked in a different bank and later moved to the Middle East with that bank. In 1999, at the age of 66, Robin sold his business on the idea of retirement. But his retirement was short. When he and his wife Maureen chose to buy Prodieco in the same year, he survived.
